About Us

Our Beginnings

IOFAST was started in July of 2003 as a division of Ballenger Motorsports to design and sell a wide variety of electronics. Originally this site was used to share information about the products we had in development. In April of 2006 this site was relaunched as the IOFAST store front to sell computer and networking equipment along with our own products.

Our Mission

At IOFAST our number one goal is to bring our customers quality products at unbelievable prices. We grow tired of seeing people being taken advantage of in retail outlets. Seeing people pay a hundred dollars or more for HDMI cable becuase the sales clerk wants them to believe it will make their TV look better is quite disheartening. The major advantage of HDMI and similar digital cables is that the cable in most cases the cable either works or does not work at all. The sound and picture going through the cables are being transmitted as digital information that is processed at the other end to recreate an exact copy of the source sound and picture where as an analog signal has to be manipulated in its raw form after going across a wire. We have yet to witness a case where a pricey name brand digital cable from a large retail outlet has been able to do something that a good generic cable is unable to do that can cost ten times less than the name brand cable.
